The North Dakota State Fair is held each July in Minot. About 300,000 people visit the fair every year to enjoy carnival rides, agricultural exhibits, live concerts, and a variety of performances. The fairgrounds, located along Burdick Expressway, are also used for the Nodak Speedway stock car races, and conventions all year round.
